Now, in the FL browser on the left, you'll see a "Channel presets" folder, and inside that, an "Automation clips" folder. Navigate to the "Automation clips" folder, and save the preset here. The save as window should default to the "Channel presets" folder. ![]() Left-click the dropdown arrow on the top-left of the Channel Settings box that pops up, and select "Save channel state as". You can do this for as many knobs as you need.Ĭopying automation clips (worse option, but useful for future reference):Ĭreate two automation clips, one for each knob. Both knobs will now be attached to the same automation clip. ![]() Make sure "Remove conflicts" is off, then hit "Accept". In the box that pops up, left-click the "Internal Controller" dropdown, and select the name of the automation clip you just created for the other knob. Although these ways will work they’re not optimal for the best workflow in FL Studio. ![]() Then, navigate to the area of the piano roll that you would like to paste it and hit Ctrl-V or going to the edit menu and selecting paste. Link both knobs to one automation clip (better option):įor the first knob, go through Tools -> Last tweaked -> Create automation clip, as normal.įor the second knob, instead do Tools -> Last tweaked -> Link to controller. The first way is to hit Ctrl-C on the keyboard or go to edit, copy, within the piano roll window. ![]()
